Job Overview:

Our client is a global manufacturer of steel products based in Shotton, Deeside. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to play a key role in supporting all CAPEX process enhancements and plant improvement schemes. When required, you will also deputise for the Projects Manager.

You will lead a team of project engineers, design engineers and contractors to deliver engineering and technology support, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.

Relevant plant experience within the steel industry is desirable, but experience within the paper, nuclear, oil & gas, construction industries will also be considered.

Requirements:

• Degree in an appropriate discipline
• Relevant plant experience as mentioned above
• Strong management and communication skills
• Strong understanding of risk management and construction regs

Salary: £53346 - £64016 + bonus + benefits
